Seoul, the capital of South Korea, is a city where history and modernity coexist. Ancient palaces like Gyeongbokgung and Changdeokgung stand amid skyscrapers and contemporary architecture, offering a glimpse into the country’s rich heritage. The city’s neighborhoods, from Insadong’s traditional streets to Gangnam’s sleek districts, showcase its cultural and economic diversity.

Nature is never far in Seoul. The Han River flows through the city, providing scenic walking and cycling paths, while surrounding mountains like Bukhansan and Namsan offer hiking trails and panoramic views. Seasonal changes transform the cityscape, with cherry blossoms in spring and vibrant autumn foliage adding color to urban life.

Seoul’s culinary scene reflects its cultural depth. Street markets such as Gwangjang and Namdaemun serve traditional dishes like tteokbokki and bibimbap, while upscale restaurants experiment with modern interpretations of Korean cuisine. Festivals and performances, from traditional music to contemporary K-pop shows, create a lively cultural rhythm throughout the year.
